Diana Buzoianu, the Minister of the Environment, stated that the PSD is demanding her resignation during the negotiations for the Romsilva reform, accusing the social democrats of wanting to maintain the status quo in management. Sorin Grindeanu asked Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan to dismiss Buzoianu, threatening that the PSD will support a simple motion against her in Parliament if the request is not fulfilled. Buzoianu emphasized that she will not accept being blackmailed with her position and that she will not sign a Government Decision that would maintain inefficient administrative structures.
Additionally, the PSD criticizes Buzoianu for managing the water crisis in Prahova and Dâmbovița, where over 100,000 people have been without water for 12 days. Discussions between Grindeanu and Bolojan have not led to a clear conclusion, and the situation could generate a political crisis.
