Daniel Băluță was elected, in an extraordinary conference, the new leader of the PSD Bucharest organization, being the only candidate for this position. In his speech, he emphasized that PSD Bucharest must become the engine of the party, demonstrating that it can govern with results. The president of PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, thanked former leader Gabriela Firea for her 10-year contribution, highlighting the importance of strengthening the organization before the elections for the Capital City Hall.

Grindeanu stated that Băluță is a serious candidate who has already accomplished important projects in Sector 4, attracting significant European funds. He emphasized that Bucharest needs an efficient manager, not "sleepy dads" or "TV stars," and expressed confidence that Băluță will win the elections. Grindeanu insisted that the campaign must focus on the candidates' achievements, not on politics.
