Dacian Cioloș is on the list of potential candidates to head the SRI or SIE, according to Digi24 sources. The country's president will consider the proposals and parliament will vote on the appointments in early fall. Nicușor Dan, the capital's mayor, said he would consult with the parties before making proposals, wishing to avoid nominations that could be rejected by parliament. The director posts at SRI and SIE are vacant and the current director of SIE is being publicly challenged.
