"It seems to me that the discussion launched mainly by the PSD has harmed democracy in Romania, which somehow conditioned itself and even made a blackmail: if you will run in a certain way, if someone with someone else, if they ally... You cannot set the elections, the date of the elections, the organization of the elections, depending on who will run. This does not exist anywhere in the manual of democracy. Elections are that fixed point, they come upon us to say so, and then the candidacies are free. The constitution provides for the freedom of association.
