According to a recent project, staff in public institutions and authorities who are nominated in project teams for initiatives funded by European funds, both reimbursable and non-reimbursable, will be entitled to a salary increase of up to 40% of the base salary, the function salary, and related allowances. This measure applies regardless of the number of projects in which employees are involved. The project aims to encourage public sector employees to actively participate in the management of external funds, considering the importance of these resources for the development of local communities. This initiative has generated discussions among budgetary employees, considering the positive impact on motivation and efficiency in project implementation.
