The Government's spokesperson, Ioana Ene Dogioiu, stated at the end of Thursday's meeting that the Executive will send the resignations and interim proposals to replace the PSD ministers at Cotroceni. At the same time, according to her, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan thanked the PSD-supported ministers who were not present at the Government meeting, especially Deputy Prime Minister Marian Neacșu.

The resignations of the PSD ministers, once submitted, will be sent to the Cotroceni Palace for approval.

"The legal procedure, because I can only speak about it at this moment, is that after these resignations are submitted and registered at the Prime Minister's Chancellery, at the moment we see them, together with the interim proposals, they will be sent to the Cotroceni Palace, to the Presidency of Romania, for the issuance of approval and the issuance of revocation decrees, respectively the appointment in the interim positions, after which the government continues its normal activity, which the Prime Minister also emphasized at the end of the government meeting.

Dogioiu mentioned that the government continues its normal activity, emphasizing the importance of projects, especially the PNRR.

The Prime Minister requested that the ministries be led by competent individuals, thus ensuring an efficient team effort.

Dogioiu reaffirmed that the interim positions at the ministries are functioning normally and that the government has full powers to continue its activity.
