Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated that the director of EximBank remains in office, despite having sent the necessary documents to the prosecutor's office. He emphasized that the Government initiates investigations when there are suspicions of mismanagement of public funds, but cannot dismiss the director due to existing contractual clauses. Bolojan explained that the difficulties do not stem from legislation, but from the good faith issues of those who signed the contracts. He highlighted the risks associated with unfair contracts, which can lead to unsatisfactory outcomes. The Prime Minister concluded that changing the situation is complicated when decisions are influenced by personal interests within the leadership structures.
