The president of PNL, Ilie Bolojan, stated on Monday, after the discussion with the designated prime minister Eugen Tomac, that such a government, which does not rely on explicit political support, is not a solution for Romania, pointing out that during the discussions, things were said directly, without circumlocutions. 

"We presented our perspective and specifically the fact that such a government, which does not rely on explicit political support, is not a solution for Romania, having practically no possibility to continue reforms and to tackle the difficult issues that the reality we are going through needs, which Romania cannot avoid, without parliamentary support," said Bolojan, after the discussions with Eugen Tomac, at the PNL headquarters.
