The BNS strongly criticized the statements of Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, considering them "triumphalist and detached from reality." The unionists claim that the recovery measures mentioned by the prime minister have not led to an improvement in the economy, but rather, on the contrary, to its deterioration. They emphasize that the budget deficit has significantly increased, and interest costs have reached alarming levels.

The BNS accuses the government of an inflationary policy and financial repression, mentioning measures such as the increase in VAT and excise duties, which directly affect the population and companies. The unionists demand that the government abandon these policies and understand that reforms should not only involve tax increases, warning that such measures could lead Romania into a deep recession.
