Alexander Van der Bellen, President of Austria, said that the exploitation of natural gas in the Black Sea through the Neptun Deep project will have significant effects for Europe and will contribute to calming the energy situation. Austria, as the second investor in Romania, is interested in this project, highlighting the involvement of OMV and Petrom. President Nicușor Dan emphasized the need to better connect Europe in the field of energy and efficient use of gas extracted from the Black Sea.
