The AUR formation declared that it will vote for the new Integrity Law project only if it includes the obligation to declare the assets and interests of life partners, as well as clear provisions regarding incompatibilities and conflicts of interest. AUR emphasizes that these rules must apply to all individuals holding public office, including spouses or life partners.

In a statement, the party reaffirmed that it supports a law that strengthens integrity standards and ensures the transparency of asset declarations. AUR previously voted on amendments regarding incompatibilities and conflicts of interest, including in the case of the mayor of Timișoara, Dominic Fritz. Party representatives believe that a court ruling regarding incompatibility must have legal effects, regardless of the person involved. AUR insists that integrity legislation must be applied equally to all public officials, without exception.
