The leader of AUR, Petrișor Peiu, declared that his party will not vote for a government led by Adrian Veștea if it comes to a vote in Parliament. Peiu reaffirmed AUR's position of not supporting a cabinet that does not include them and criticized President Nicușor Dan's decision to nominate Veștea for the position of Prime Minister, considering it ridiculous and lacking parliamentary support.
He emphasized that the nomination has no chance of obtaining the investiture vote, as it does not rely on a parliamentary majority. Peiu added that AUR will not change its previous position and does not believe that PNL will support a government with PSD. Adrian Veștea, nominated as Prime Minister after Eugen Tomac's withdrawal, stated that he assumes responsibility for a moment of political crisis.
