George Simion, the leader of AUR, announced that his party has 90 votes, insufficient for the suspension of mayor Nicușor Dan, but will continue with this process if democracy and respect for all political formations are not restored.
Simion emphasized that Romanian society can no longer be divided and that AUR wants to be a factor of dialogue and balance in the current crisis. He mentioned that the party has presented solutions and will continue to discuss them in Parliament.
Regarding the discussion between Nicușor Dan and the designated prime minister Adrian Veștea, Simion avoided commenting on the president's knowledge, suggesting that he should be better informed about the political situation.
