AUR has announced that it will table a no-confidence motion against the Ilie Bolojan-led government on Wednesday, in the context of the Prime Minister's accountability on the fiscal package. The opposition is criticizing the austerity law, accusing the government coalition of responsibility for the budget crisis and saying the proposed measures will lead to recession and rising prices. The opposition argues that the burden of austerity is borne only by Romanians, while big corporations remain unaffected by the tax hike.
