Petrișor Peiu, leader of the AUR senators, accused the Romanian Government of lack of transparency regarding the financial aid offered to Moldova, noting that in 2024 Romania has allocated more than 70 million euro. Peiu emphasized that, unlike Romania, Chisinau publishes annual detailed reports on the financial assistance received. He asked for clarifications on the amounts paid from public money, pointing out that other countries have promised larger sums but paid much less, thus underlining the need for transparency in the management of public funds.
