Alina Gorghiu, PNL deputy, stated that she remains in the party and will contest the exclusion in court, after the expiration of the ultimatum given by the leadership.

Alina Gorghiu, PNL deputy, announced that she will not resign from the party, despite the ultimatum received from the PNL leadership, which expired on Monday. Gorghiu emphasized that she has been a member of PNL for almost 30 years and that the threat of exclusion is unfounded and reflects the weakness of the current leadership.

She stated that, together with the designated Prime Minister Adrian Veștea and her colleagues, she intends to find solutions for the current crisis in the country. Gorghiu specified that she will contest the exclusion decision in court, considering that this is a battle she will fight to the end. The Extraordinary Congress of PNL recently adopted two resolutions, one of which stipulates that the participation of members in forming a government with PSD will lead to their exclusion.
