The President of the Brașov County Council, Adrian Veștea, announced on Sunday his support for the Liberal-Conservative Platform within the PNL, an initiative aimed at reaffirming the doctrinal identity of the party and promoting liberal-conservative values.
Veștea, who was the second proposal for prime minister by President Nicușor Dan, emphasized that a democratic party must allow for diversity of opinions and encourage debate. He stated that PNL has always been a vibrant party, based on consultation and respect for its members. In the context of the current challenges facing Romania, Veștea believes that PNL must return to the fundamental values that defined it and become a space for authentic dialogue.
He also mentioned that the platform is not aimed against the party, but seeks to strengthen it through mutual respect and a return to the principles that made PNL the main party of the Romanian right.
