The designated Prime Minister Adrian Veștea went on Tuesday to negotiations with the group "United for Romania" which includes Victor Ponta to secure support for a future government, and shortly after, the liberal was joined by the social democrat Marian Neacșu, as shown by the images and information from Digi24.

According to G4Media, when asked by journalists why he came, Marian Neacșu stated "I am the mediator", after which he added "the intercessor".

"You won't be emotional, no one will kick me out of the party," said Veștea.

The designated Prime Minister had discussions on Tuesday morning with the other smaller parties in Parliament, with PACE and POT.
