Adrian Țuțuianu, former PSD member, has submitted his candidacy for the leadership of AEP, after he resigned from his party membership.

Adrian Țuțuianu, Secretary of State within the General Secretariat of the Government, announced that he has officially submitted his candidacy for the leadership of the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP). This decision was made a day after he resigned from his membership in the Social Democratic Party (PSD), according to legislative requirements that impose the separation of political functions from administrative ones. His candidacy underscores the desire to contribute to the management of electoral processes in Romania, at a time when transparency and integrity of elections are essential.
