Dragoș Anastasiu said that Romania will have four parties in the coalition and that the package of fiscal measures will be presented no later than Monday. He underlines the urgent need to increase VAT to bring money into the budget and avoid downgrading the country's rating. Although various tax measures are being discussed, Anastasiu believes that VAT is the simplest solution, but also that the risks of tax evasion need to be taken into account. The ultimate objective is fiscal stability to ensure Romania's credibility on the international market.
