Adrian Câciu stated that PSD will not accept a new increase in VAT, emphasizing that progressive taxation would bring more money to the budget without affecting the population. He asserted that if discussions about increasing VAT take place, PSD will firmly oppose it. USR also rejects the idea that such discussions would occur: "there has been no discussion and there will be no discussion in the coalition about increasing VAT to 23%".
