Wizz Air has been forced to correct a problematic practice after the European Consumer Center in Romania intervened following several complaints. The problem was that upgrading to a higher season ticket preserved the validity of the old one, thus limiting consumer benefits. After discussions, the company recognized the non-compliance and adjusted the policy, ensuring that the validity of the new packages was correctly recalculated. This correction is an example of ANPC's role in protecting consumer rights.
