The Ministry of National Defense of Romania will introduce a voluntary military service aimed at young people aged between 18 and 35, consisting of a four-month training, with a monthly salary and a bonus at the end. The goal is to reach a target of 120,000 personnel. In parallel, the National Defense Law will be amended to allow the army to strike external targets and to clarify the lines of command in case of conflict. These measures aim to strengthen the army's response capacity in the face of current threats.
