The Prosecutors' Section of the SCM has reacted to the way in which information from Cristian Popescu Piedone's case was published, including private stenograms, stressing that the work of prosecutors should not be unduly criticized. The SCM called for waiting for the investigation to be completed before drawing conclusions and criticized the aggressive public communication of politicians and journalists. Cristian Popescu Piedone, accused of corruption, said his rights had been violated by the publication of the information.
