The National Federation of Pensioners in Romania (FNPR) challenges the intention of the Government led by Ilie Bolojan to impose a 10% health contribution on pensions exceeding 4,000 lei and a similar tax on those above 3,000 lei. The FNPR considers this measure unacceptable, affecting pensioners who have contributed significantly to the public pension system and emphasizing that a similar measure has been declared unconstitutional. The Federation calls for the withdrawal of this proposal from the government program.
