In a press conference, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan emphasized the need to eliminate exceptions for early retirement and to reduce the duration of unemployment benefits from one year to six months, in order to encourage employment. He highlighted that only 53% of Romanians aged between 55 and 64 are employed, which affects budget revenues. Bolojan proposed measures to increase the number of active people in the economy and to combat undeclared work.
