Petrișor Peiu, AUR senator, denounces the Bolojan government's plan to change the private pension payment system, which would lead to the confiscation of the contributions of 8.3 million Romanians. The bill envisages monthly payments from Pillar 2 instead of the full amount at retirement, leaving the money in the hands of foreign firms. Peiu accuses the government coalition of anti-democratic and anti-capitalist actions, calling for Romanians' right to manage their contributions to be respected. Similar criticism comes from PNL MP Florin Roman.
