President-elect Nicușor Dan reacted strongly to threats by AUR leader George Simion, saying that violence, whether physical or verbal, will not be tolerated in Romania. Following the Constitutional Court hearing, Dan emphasized that although parties have the right to campaign, any form of violence will attract a reaction from the institutions. His statement came after Simion issued a threatening message, but acknowledged the election result, stressing the need to avoid conflict.
