The National Environmental Guard has dismantled a 50 cm pipe that discharged rainwater on the beach in Năvodari, fining the municipality 30,000 lei.

Commissioners of the National Environmental Guard intervened quickly after they were notified about a pipe discharging rainwater into the sea on the beach in Năvodari. The clogged pipe was dismantled in less than 24 hours and the municipality was fined 30,000 lei. Following the checks, fines of 845,000 lei were imposed for various irregularities, including environmental pollution. People commented that the pipe had existed for a long time, but GNM's quick reaction was appreciated.
