Since the beginning of the summer season, the A.B.A. Dobrogea-Litoral teams have collected almost 2,700 tons of algae from Romanian beaches, with the largest quantities in Mamaia Sud, Năvodari, Mamaia, Constanța, and Mangalia. The collection activities take place at night to avoid affecting tourists and to ensure safety conditions. These actions are part of an ongoing effort to manage algal blooms and keep the coastline clean for tourists' vacations.
