<p>Energy Minister Sebastian Burduja has said that there is a possibility that the energy price cap scheme could be extended, not just for vulnerable consumers. This comes as the European Commission has opened an infringement procedure against Romania for excessive prolongation of the market regulation scheme. Burduja emphasized that a better definition of vulnerable consumers based on a socio-economic analysis is needed.
