Bogdan Ivan announced, during a press conference, five measures aimed at reducing electricity prices for Romanians. These include operationalizing a Market Maker mechanism for liquidity, increasing transparency through transaction guarantees, introducing dynamic tariffs, lowering purchase prices for distributors, and integrating energy efficiency programs. Ivan emphasizes the importance of European negotiations for extending the operation of coal-fired power plants until 2030, in order to keep prices affordable.
