Following a meeting with the Government, Dan Șucu emphasized that tax increases are not the solution to the budget deficit, but to make public spending more efficient. He criticized the poor VAT collection and called on the government to manage the budget responsibly and avoid imposing the tax burden on the private sector. Șucu insisted that economic problems cannot be solved through tax increases, but through better management of public resources.
