The government has approved a budget of over 1.186 billion lei for the 2025 presidential elections.

The budget was adopted by Government decision and comes from the Budget Reserve Fund. The structure of expenditure necessary for the elections was also approved. A decision on the measures for the proper organization and conduct of the elections was also approved, detailing the tasks of the institutions involved.
