On April 28, the Iberian Peninsula was hit by a significant blackout, leaving large parts of Spain and Portugal without electricity. The incident had serious consequences, including disruptions to public transport, communications, hospitals and water supplies. Following the event, Minister Grindeanu emphasized that Romania is not immune to such situations and underlined the importance of preparing for possible blackouts.
