Agriculture Minister Florin Barbu said that Romania should stop investing in stadiums and focus on income-generating agricultural projects such as irrigation systems and breeding farms. He emphasized the need for a coherent strategy in agriculture, noting that the state will invest almost €2 billion in processing over the next three years. Barbu criticized previous investments as chaotic and proposed setting quality standards for food products in line with European regulations.
