Moldovan police identified and blocked several TikTok channels promoting disinformation related to the conflict in Ukraine and the parliamentary elections.

A statement from the Moldovan Police announced that 443 TikTok channels were monitored, of which 98 promoted the country's involvement in the conflict in Ukraine and 59 were blocked. In addition, 12 channels were spreading false information about election fraud and 128 were attacking public figures. The authorities emphasize the importance of verifying information from official and credible sources, given the scale of the risks posed by these channels, which have amassed more than 1.2 million followers.
