The NGO emphasizes that the platform's algorithms can expose users to "toxic" content, affecting their mental and physical integrity. The report uses the term "rabbit holes" to describe the spiraling effect generated by TikTok's algorithms, which amplify users' exposure to topics of interest, including those related to depression, self-harm, and suicide.
