The first version of the voice assistant Siri, enhanced with Gemini technology, will be launched in the second half of February 2026, according to Bloomberg sources. It will become available alongside the iOS 26.4 update. Before the launch, Apple will hold an event to showcase the new features of Siri, although details about the scope of this event are still unclear. The new Siri will have the ability to be aware of the screen content, allowing it to respond to questions and perform various actions at the user's command. The technology will rely on AI models with over a billion parameters, running on Apple's cloud to protect user data. This launch marks an important achievement for Apple, which has promised an AI-based Siri since WWDC 2024.
