According to a study conducted by the French financial technology company Qonto, 46% of European SMEs currently use artificial intelligence tools, such as ChatGPT, on a regular basis. However, only a small percentage have implemented essential digital systems, such as online accounting, video conferencing, data analysis, or document management. The result, warns Qonto, is an increasing digital gap that could undermine the long-term competitiveness of the economic backbone of Europe.
