The messaging feature will allow users to chat and share music, being available on mobile devices for users aged 16 and over, in certain markets. After removing a similar feature in 2017, Spotify is now relying on subscriber growth to gain market share. The company aims for 1 billion users and is expanding its video content library, including options for podcast creators.
