Spotify is experiencing technical issues worldwide. Users cannot search for songs and artists in the app

Problems began shortly before 15:00 in the UK and 10:00 in New York, according to the Down Detector website. The outage did not affect all users or all of the platform’s features: for some, music could be played, but searches for songs or artists did not display results.

Several users reported that the desktop version was working normally, while errors appeared on phones. Spotify confirmed on X that it was investigating the situation, without specifying the cause or when it would be resolved. The company has approximately 800 million users in 184 countries, of whom 300 million have paid subscriptions.
