These innovative solar cells are made with a secret ingredient: perovskite, a family of minerals with high performance and low costs, already used in the research of traditional solar panels. The innovation lies in adjusting the perovskite for capturing indoor light, while simultaneously improving durability. The prototype cell achieved remarkable results, converting 37.6% of ambient light into electricity.
