OpenAI is reportedly working on new strategies to counter the significant slowdown in the pace of improvement of its AI models. This slower pace of advancement suggests that OpenAI may be approaching a plateau in certain areas, such as coding capabilities, where Orion is not consistently outpacing its predecessors. To counter this, OpenAI has set up a new 'core team' tasked with exploring how to advance its models.
