Neil Kumar, a 15-year-old student from Bellevue High School, developed the FindIt app, which uses artificial intelligence to help people recover lost items, a major problem in the USA, where over 400 million items are lost annually.

The app allows users to upload photos of found items, and the AI analyzes the image and generates a detailed description. Those looking for an item can enter a description, and the app searches for the best matches.

FindIt will be tested at Bellevue College, and Kumar hopes to expand it to schools, airports, and public transportation systems. His innovation has brought him recognition and placed him among the top 300 young innovators in the USA. Kumar aims to continue developing technological solutions for real-world problems.
