The use of artificial intelligence makes people more competitive in a market where results increasingly depend on the combination of human expertise and technology, said Dan Sultănescu, CEO of the Romanian media intelligence platform NewsVibe, at the launch conference of the “Newmoney.ro – INSCOP Economic Sentiment Index,” 2nd edition.

Sultănescu (pictured, in the foreground, left) explained that NewsVibe collects between 3,000 and 4,000 news articles from the economic sector daily, and more than half of them have a positive tone. This contrasts with information about politics, conflicts, and other fields.

He emphasized that uncertainty must be viewed as the new operating rule, since companies cannot accurately anticipate the evolution of markets, investments, or economic rules. NewsVibe was launched a few years ago, using automated data collection and processing solutions, based on the experience of a team with 20–25 years of activity in the field.

After the first two years, during which development was difficult, the company recorded accelerated growth over the last six months and secured contracts both in Romania and abroad. The advantage, Sultănescu argues, is the speed with which data is analyzed and informational noise is transformed into useful information for decision-making.
