Meta has announced the launch of premium versions for WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook users, who will be able to access additional features in exchange for a monthly fee. Subscriptions cost $3.99 for Facebook and Instagram, and $2.99 for WhatsApp. Among the new features are account customization options, statistics on content views, and the ability to keep stories on Instagram for 24 hours. Users will also be able to use custom fonts and add additional stickers on WhatsApp. These changes come after tests conducted by Meta and are part of a broader suite of premium tools, which will include paid plans for professional users, such as businesses and content creators. Meta already has another subscription service, Meta Verified, which offers users an identity verification badge and additional protection.
