Starting December 16, Meta will begin using topics from your text and voice conversations with Meta AI to personalize your experience on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. This includes tailoring ads, suggested posts, Reels, and Facebook groups. The company states that it will not use information about sensitive topics, such as religion, sexual orientation, political or philosophical beliefs, health information, or union membership.
