At CES, LG unveiled CLOiD, a home robot powered by artificial intelligence, designed to perform daily tasks such as doing laundry and preparing breakfast.

CLOiD presents itself as an "environmental care agent", capable of moving autonomously and interacting with the surrounding environment through an advanced system of cameras and sensors. Unlike other household robots, CLOiD has a complete upper body and two arms, allowing it to manipulate objects. However, demonstrations at CES showed its limitations, moving slowly and cautiously, unable to effectively replace human effort. Although CLOiD is a promising concept, LG has not provided a timeline for its launch, and the robot seems more like a symbol of the company's vision for an AI-based home ecosystem. Currently, CLOiD is more of a preview of the future of domestic robotics than a finished product.
