Employers in various fields, including IT, marketing, engineering, and sales, are increasingly demanding digital skills and knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) in job postings. Although interest in these skills is growing, a survey conducted by eJobs shows that only 40% of employees use AI regularly at the office. Half of employers believe that employees are not sufficiently familiar with these tools. Currently, there are approximately 1,500 job openings that require digital skills and 5,000 that require knowledge of AI or machine learning. Most employees acknowledge that they lack digital skills, and Romania ranks last in the EU in the use of AI in companies. In this context, employers are starting to implement training programs to improve the digital skills of their teams.
